Here are some quick resources for helping your kids to evaluate the books they are reading. Please feel free to download as often as you like or to make copies.
Here's a link to a Google Spreadsheet with Christian authors who write for teens and middle graders. Every author on the list has either mentioned their faith publicly or signed a statement of faith. I have not read books by most of these authors, but I have indicated the ones I have read books from. I will try to update this list periodically as I find more authors that should be listed.
I've written a short book for Christian parents who want to learn more about the world of fiction writing for children and teens. It gives a brief overview of the dangers in modern kids fiction and how to recognize them. This book can be found on Amazon. Currently only available in paperback.
